We also run the largest & most active Real Estate Investor Meetup in Toronto with over 2400+ investors, and we hold Monthly Meetup events where we educate and teach how to invest in Toronto. Since 2012, we have helped hundreds of investors build over $100M+ of wealth and have changed countless financial futures along the way.

A thought leader and advocate, Matt is passionate about the transformative change that real estate investing offers when done correctly. Having learned hard lessons from previously “chasing the shiny object” when investing in small towns, he has now created the Volition investing business model (an investment business model that actually works in the Toronto market) predicated on risk-mitigation, scalability, and resiliency, which he has taught to thousands of aspiring investors.

No one knows how to build wealth in real estate better than Sam. Starting with just a simple condo, Sam has built a substantial portfolio in Toronto, including several properties on the SAME street (his goal eventually to have the entire street named after him). Leading the Investment Realty division, he not only nurtures and supports the entire Volition team of Investor Realtors, but also runs the Volition “Hub”, where he is responsible for finding and filtering potential deals, serving them up to the Investor Realtors and clients faster than anyone else in Toronto.

Ming is a passionate educator and brings 20 years of real estate investment experience in Toronto, the GTA, and Southwest Ontario to the Volition team. He loves nothing more than to teach, mentor and advise.

Ming has been a guest speaker on various national platforms including Erwin Setzo’s – The Truth about Real Estate Investing, Austin Yeh’s – RISE Network, The REITE club, and David Debeau’s – Property Profit Podcast. Ming’s background in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and construction experience gives him a unique analytical lens on investing, and a practical approach to implementing investing strategies.

Ed works tirelessly to find his clients the best possible deal in the market. An expert in Toronto multifamily in downtown neighbourhoods and in the condo market, he has an uncanny ability to see value where others can’t. He is also experienced in a Construction Project Management and is able to deliver for clients a seamless experience in the conversion of a Single Family property into a Legal Luxury Multiplex with Laneway Housing.

A former client-turned-teammate, Florence has been an advocate for Volition and its mission to help investors build wealth since inception. With an Executive MBA from University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, she is an accomplished business strategist who is leading the charge to grow the brand presence, client base, and revenues sustainably.

Florence is also applying her extensive renovation and project management experience to oversee large-scale multi-family construction projects on behalf of clients.

Shelby makes sure that Volition runs like a well-oiled machine. When she goes on vacation, Volition falls apart. “Shelby runs my entire life” is a comment not uncommonly heard from the Volition team. ‘Nuff said.

Brian is a “roll-up-his-sleeves” kind of guy. With a management background managing teams of 50+ technicians, he has the ability to simultaneously manage several construction projects, from simple kitchens & baths, to full legal multiplex conversions, He has been known to pick up and swing a hammer or two to help get the job done.

An award winning designer, Alcina has transformed countless old Grandma style homes into luxury legal multiplex cashflow machines for Volition clients. She is also our resident in-house stager, is our secret weapon in getting top dollar for our seller clients.

Janny is responsible for all tenant placement activities. Her patented process of advertising, marketing, showings, screening generates top rents and results in the best possible tenant profiles for Volition investors.
